Welcome to the UFO Sightings Narrative Data Visualization.
This narrative visualization displays key data gathered from over 90,000 UFO Sightings since 1969 using JavaScript and the d3.js library.
Following a Martini Glass structure, the first three charts are displayed without any option for user interaction, while the table at the end can be filtered by the user to search for specific UFO sightings based on the year, region, and figure reported.
The message behind this narrative visualization is to encourage the viewer to consider the possibility of alien life in the universe, due to the sheer number of and apparent patterns and similarities between UFO sightings.
